[A hot-rod screams along the closest thing to a main road there is, fire bursting from its exhaust pipes, Judas Priest blaring from the radio, and with blood adorning its front fender (whoops, roadkill). The hot-rod squeals to a sliding halt, kicking up dirt and dust, and a man steps out, slinging a Flying V guitar and battleaxe over his shoulders and dusting off his hands.]

Ye-ep. Looks like the place! Man, all the way out in the middle of nowhere, huh?

Anyway! This is fresh meat (arcanashift) bringing in Gaius from Merlin! This is roughly how it happened:

A day later, I decide that Gaius being a quest helper of some sort is a good idea for a job! And then I delay...and delay. Finally, the day is drawing close and I have not been able to sit and write anything due to my episode downloads being destroyed and I despaired of getting in this time when Hades decides to last-minute her app! I then have a philosophical discussion with myself about the virtues of hard work versus writing things on a whim and I decide that since I have been winging it for all of my life, I might as well give it a try!

As for hilarious app stories, I...had been planning to app him for months, then decided not to do it, then went 'oh, balls I want to play this man' and gave up and banged it out...starting five minutes into the window. NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN.

Also, play his canon, guys! Copies are fairly cheap, but there are also quite a few ROMs floating around the internets. There's a manga version ongoing over here as well! It is full of adorable fail, political intrigue, and also dragons. 8D CHECK IT OUT AND APP MY DERPY HEROES.

For the record! With Gracia comes Elysia. She will be in camp in the background and will always be around either Gracia or Hughes at any given point in time. Please do not hurt the child or there will be pain and death and more pain. ♥

[ For the first time at camp, I dreamed.

Well, okay, that’s not totally true. I’d eaten half of one of Ned’s pies just before I went to bed one night and had a pink elephants-grade dream about zombie blueberries, but that was a normal dream. This was one of the dreams I’d gotten more and more frequently since I’d found out I was a demigod – the incredibly vivid, focused dreams that shouted “guess what, here’s something new for you to worry about!”

In the dream, snow was falling softly across camp, so that the whole place was a big blob of shadows with cabins poking out like whack-a-moles. As I watched, two beautiful animals, a big, pitch-black crow and a prancing white horse, made their way across the snow, dark and bright against the gray day. I would have been fine if my dream had just been about two animals wandering around zombie camp, but as the two came closer, I saw the crow annoying the horse with a few raps of its sharp beak, and the horse try, in vain, to nip at the bird’s feathers.

I sat straight up, bashing my head on the bunk above mine, sweating faintly. I’m a horse person, so seeing any horse get picked on is uncomfortable enough, but I knew that wasn’t why I’d woken up with clenched fists.

The problem was that I’d dreamed about that same white horse before, and if it was in trouble, then I really had something new to worry about. ]

Amazingly enough, this is my first trolly villain type character, so there will probably be some info-y type stuff later as I figure things out, but for now I just have a stats/permissions meme.

Oh god I have seven HELLO CAMP this is Kousaka/Isabella/Sasha etc upping her trap quotient with Narumi-sensei from Gakuen Alice! His stats/permissions is here which includes a more detailed description of his powers.

Speaking of which, Narumi is now your Conflict Resolution counselor. Basically, this means if you need an intervention for characters who are about to fight or anything like that, let me know. As long as they're human Narumi can use his power to diffuse the situation (and I think it's safe to say it affects people who are attracted to humans, so it'd affect vampires and some angels etc. He only definitely can't affect animals). He'll also happily counsel people on subtler issues. But if you need him to stop a fight in the works, ping/PM me (Note: I'm "Narumi-sensei" not "Narumi" on IRC, so don't PM her accidentally orz. I'll probably be on my other nicks instead so as to avoid confusion) or email me at violetsquirrel at gmail and I'll have him step in \o/

Lastly, my external harddrive died a week or so ago so I haven't been able to canon review much, but I think I'll be alright to play. Just bear with me a little bit. I'll also probably be fiddling with his icons for the next while.

What's Okay To Mention Around her: Can't think of anything in particular that's not okay.

Abilities:
Pheromonal Inclination Alice. What this means is that he can use his magic to release pheromones that cause any human, regardless of age or sexuality, to be temporarily (it only works as long as he's consciously doing it) so in love with him that they'll obey his every word. He can also overwhelm them with his Alice so they fall unconscious- this is what tends to happen when he uses his Alice on children because they're "inexperienced in love". But he can do it to adults too. He does all of this while wearing earrings and a ring that limit his power, so it's not even nearly at full strength.

The only way in canon to avoid being affected is to be either completely immune to magic, or to eat a special... something that makes one temporarily resistant (I will look it up properly when my harddrive isn't broken and I can canon review orz). But if he takes his limiters off he can still affect people who are resistant, so being immune to all magic is really the only way to be certain. Or being an animal, or possibly a non-human who isn't human-like or who doesn't have any attraction whatsoever to humans. Or something like that. Case-by-case basis for humanoid non-humans orz.

NATURALLY I won't use his power unless I've completely cleared it with the players involved, and he won't use it irresponsibly in any case (unless I deage him anyway).

Notes for psychics: The cheerfullness isn't really an act, he is that confident and narcissistic, but he is a little more serious than he lets on. Thinks about Mikan and other people from his canon fairly often.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Talk to me~
Hugging/Kissing/Other non-violent physical contact: Sure, go ahead
Maim/Murder/Death: Maaaybe not but we'll see
Cooking: I don't think this is ever specifically said, but I'd imagine he can cook pretty well.
